Shiver!

I know I’ve already mentioned how much I’m looking forward to SHIVER by Maggie Stiefvater. Wasn’t it one of the very first books I WoW-ed? I think it was. And there was already an awesome trailer to go with the description, which got me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside… here’s the description in case you didn’t remember:

For years, Grace has watched the wolves in the woods behind her house. One yellow-eyed wolf–her wolf–is a chilling presence she can’t seem to live without. Meanwhile, Sam has lived two lives: In winter, the frozen woods, the protection of the pack, and the silent company of a fearless girl. In summer, a few precious months of being human . . . until the cold makes him shift back again. Now, Grace meets a yellow-eyed boy whose familiarity takes her breath away. It’s her wolf. It has to be. But as winter nears, Sam must fight to stay human–or risk losing himself, and Grace, forever.

So yeah, I was randomly going around the web yesterday and I saw Maggie’s site. You have GOT to see this!

Isn’t that amaaaazing? Seriously. She sat down and did all the paper cutouts and photographing the the teeny tiny movements in a million frames and what-not. Now THAT is dedication. I would’ve given up after the first heart/leaf, I swear.

So there’s not much time. If you want a copy of Shiver as badly as I do, go enter the mega-contest at her site… and tell her I think she’s fantastic! =) QUICK, IT ENDS TOMORROW! (Tuesday)

  1. Brilliant Trailer!
I liked this one better than the last one, cause you can see the “characters” interacting 🙂 So cute!
And she did an amazing job with it!
